This memorial website was created in the memory of My Beautiful girl, Heather Bates who was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on June 08,1991 and taken away from us all Too damn soon in Oak Creek, Wisconsin on November 12,2005 at the age of 14.
We will remember & love her forever.
She has impacted so many lives in so many different ways. I am great full to God for the 14 wonderful years I had with my daughter, the love, laughter, and memories I hold in my heart, and the eternity that I will have with her when I am called home.

Many many Heartfelt thank yous to the angel families who visit Heather's site!. You all are a blessing to our family. You are our earth angels. God Bless you all!

A super huge THANK YOU to Heather's wonderful friend Chris for making the song "Miss your smile"
Listed on the right.
Your smiles still warm my heart baby gurl!!
Your laughter still rings in my ears.
So many people love and miss you so much. The memories I have of you from carrying you in my tummy to the beautiful 14 year old who shared so much love and many smiles, are cherished always.
The accomplishments you have made with school, helping people, and doing what you knew to be right, are many.
Your creativity , fashion sense, and loyality were amazing. I mentioned fashion sense because you had a knack for wearing something sometimes totally outrageous,
and next thing you know all your friends HAD to have it. :) You will always be my baby gurl.
If you were here today or even lived to be a grandma yourself I would still have called you my Baby gurl.
Though nothing is right with out you here, I know you will always be in my heart.
You are the strength I need to make it through. I look forward to the day we meet again baby gurl.
I will NEVER let you go!!!
I LOVE YOU!!! XOXOXOXO

I remember how much you loved to ride on motorcycles. Donny took you almost everywhere you wanted to go on his.
You loved the wind in your hair, the long rides in the country, even the jumps you had him do for you.
It all brought smiles to your beautiful face. Ride on Baby!

Arielle & Heather two beautiful angels together in Heaven. We love and miss you both so much!

RINGS IN HER HAIR
An Irish Prose written for Heather
I dreamt I was walking,
upon a green meadow,
the heather would gracefully,
bend without care.
Twas then that I saw her,
a lovely young maiden,
with rings in her hair.
She danced and she moved,
her grace unabated,
her smile and her beauty,
were without compare.
And as I approached her,
she asked me "come hither."
This lovely young maiden,
with rings in her hair.
Twas then that I noticed,
The maiden was Heather.
She looked in my eyes,
with a questioning stare.
The sun shone around her,
her movements so graceful,
as I caught a glimpse,
of the rings in her hair.
She sweetly said, "Sir ..
tisn't your time to be here ..
to walk these fair meadows ..
that Heaven does share."
And as she approached me,
her hand out to offer,
a token of caring,
a ring from her hair.
"Sir when you return ..
tell all those who love me ..
of this lovely meadow ..
I'll wait for them here."
A kiss on my cheek,
and a touch of her hand,
she turned and she left me,
with a ring from her hair.
I suddenly woke up,
alone in my bedroom,
but vivid were visions,
of sweet Heather so fair.
Was it just a dream,
or did I really visit,
and there in my hand ..
Was a ring from her hair.

The Broken Chain
We knew little that day,
God was going to call your name.
In life we loved you dearly,
In death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you,
You did not go alone.
For part of us went with you,
The day God called you home.
You left us beautiful memories,
Your love is still our guide.
Though we cannot see you,
You are always at our side.
Our family chain is broken,
And nothing seems the same,
But as God calls us one by one,
The chain will link again
You were always on the computer talking to your friends. You knew more about a computer than I ever did.
You had to teach ME how to use it
and do cool things on it.
:)
This portrait of Heather was made by incredible artist Stu Beitler. A truly wonderful friend, with an amazing talent.
Heartfelt thanks to you Stu. May God always walk with you.
You were a music junkie from the time you were able to speak, not a day went by that you were not singing, or dancing. You had a beautiful voice and could sing anything and make it sound great. I also remember how much you wanted a Sax to play. Now you can play one for Jesus baby.
